7 months...3 weeks

Caden continues to amaze us more and more every day! He's sitting all by himself with an occasional fall backwards. He is so much fun to play with as he reaches for toys and is intrigued by the noises, lights, and sounds of the many toys that surround him!

He's also quite a talker at seven months! He routinely says "da-da", "ga-ga" and "ba-ba". Naturally....he's saving the best for last "ma-ma"! We do get an occasional 'ma-ma' but like I said...we're saving the best for last! :-P Caden also enjoys playing peek-a-boo! He will often initiate the game using his hat or blankies. too cute!!!

Unfortunately for Caden, he did have his first round of antibiotics for a double ear infection. The poor little guy was a trooper! Once the antibiotics took control we saw a huge difference! He was beginning to sleep better with one to two wake periods at night. It has taken quite a while to get him back into the sleep habits he'd developed prior to the infections. He has had several nights where he's slept through from 8:30-6 and sporadic nights where he'll wake between 12-2. He is usually back to sleep with the help of a mini bottle within 20-30 minutes. :o)

Finally, we've started stage 2 foods with Caden. He eats three meals a day. Breakfast is usually cereal or oatmeal, followed by fruit at lunch and a veggie at dinner. We're slowly moving towards the addition of meat. In addition to his solid food, he will usually enjoy a four ounce bottle at each meal and an eight ounce bottle before bed.

Don't you just love him to pieces??!!!!
